简 介：QJ Wang博士现为澳大利亚维多利亚州第一产业研究所首席科学家，其研究领域包括灌溉管理、灌溉系统与模型分析、流域水资源管理与宏观决策等内容。他于1986年毕业于清华大学，1987~1991年在爱尔兰获得硕士和博士学位，1992~1999年在爱尔兰国立大学和澳大利亚墨尔本大学任教，1999年后在澳大利亚维多利亚州第一产业研究所从事科学研究工作。
QJ Wang已在国际一流期刊发表许多学术论文，在墨尔本大学工作期间曾3次获“最佳教师奖”，2005年获得澳大利亚杰出科研成果奖，曾于最近召开的澳大利亚国家灌溉排水大会上作为唯一的科学家代表做特邀报告。
Dr. QJ Wang is currently a Principal Scientist in the Department of Primary Industries, Victoria, Australia. His expertise includes irrigation management, systems and statistical modeling, catachment analysis,strategic planning, community and stakeholder engagement.
Dr Wang graduated from Tsinghua University in 1986. He completed his MSc and phD in Ireland. He held teaching positions at National University of Ireland and University Melbourne from 1992 to 1999, before joining the Department of Primary Industries, Victoria.
Dr Wang has published many papers in leading international journals. He was awarded “The Best Lecturer” three times while working at University of Melbourne. He was a finalist of the Victorian Outstanding Science Achievement Award 2005. He was the only science keynote speaker at the Australian National Irrigation and Drainage Conference.
Dr. Wang will give a brief overview of irrigation research he has been involved in Australia. He will talk about using the Bayesian Networks technique for knowledge integration and representation. Dr Wang will give his personal refection on his journey from a farming village in Shandong province to where he is today. |
